Cancellation Policy
A non-refundable $250 deposit is required to reserve your event date. The remaining balance is due no later than 24 hours before the event. Services will not be provided until full payment is received. Clients may reschedule once within 12 months of the original date, subject to availability. Requests must be submitted at least 14 days before the event. Approved reschedules will have their deposit transferred to the new date. Requests made within 14 days are treated as cancellations and require a new deposit. No refunds or credits are issued for cancellations made within 7 days of the event. If the client cancels less than 24 hours before the event or fails to appear, the deposit and any payments made are forfeited. If cancellation occurs earlier and the final balance has not been paid, only the deposit is forfeited. Verified emergencies such as hospitalization, death in the family, or severe weather may be reviewed for a one-time reschedule, pending date availability. Client must ensure venue access at least 60 minutes before start time, provide one 120V outlet within 25 feet, and a minimum 8x8 ft space with 8 ft ceiling clearance. Outdoor setups must be covered and weather-protected; if conditions are unsafe or unprotected, setup will move indoors or be canceled with no refund. Idle time (when the booth is set up but not in use) is billed at $75 per hour. Delays caused by the client or venue do not extend service time unless additional hours are purchased. The client is responsible for any damage, theft, or loss of equipment or props during the event and agrees to reimburse Momentous Events for repair or replacement costs. Momentous Events may pause or stop service if safety or equipment risks arise, with no refund. The client agrees to hold Momentous Events harmless for any injury, loss, or property damage occurring during use of the booth. Liability for technical issues is limited to the total amount paid for the service. Chargebacks or payment disputes will incur a $50 administrative fee and must be addressed directly with Momentous Events before contacting a payment processor. Guests who use the booth consent to being photographed and recorded. The client is responsible for notifying guests who wish to opt out. Momentous Events may use event photos or videos for marketing purposes unless a written opt-out is received before the event. Digital galleries are delivered within 48 hours; next-day delivery is available for an additional fee.
