Love Deserves More Than Survival: Why Momentous Events Exists

It started with a question:When was the last time we dressed up, held hands, and looked at each other without distraction?
As a wife and mother of five, life is beautifully full, but it’s also exhausting. Between work, school drop-offs, sports, deadlines, and dinner on the stove, I found myself wondering how long it had been since my husband and I had truly connected. Not just talked. Connected. The way we did before life got so loud.
I knew we weren’t the only ones.
So many couples are doing everything “right”, providing, parenting, surviving, but romance quietly fades into the background. We trade date nights for deadlines. Conversations for calendar coordination. Intimacy for inboxes.
That’s where Momentous Events was born.
Not out of perfection, but out of the need for a pause. A night to see each other again. To put the world on hold and step into something that feels intentional, elegant, and deeply human.
What We Believe
We believe love should be celebrated, not just sustained.
We believe in long conversations over candlelight.
We believe music can mend tension, and dancing can speak when words run out.
We believe couples deserve to feel like the most important people in the room—at least for one night.
